NOTICE: The library is currently closed to the public, visiting is only possible by appointment. The service for collect and return of loans has been relocated to the Castell dels Tres Dragons reception from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Documentation Centre of the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona (Natural Science Museum of Barcelona) holds extensive bibliographic resources and provides all kinds of information on earth and life sciences, specialising in the following fields: geology, palaeontology, mineralogy, nature, biodiversity, zoology, ethology, bioacoustics, taxidermy and museology. The Centre consists of the Library, the Media Library and the Archives. All the information resources on botany are held at the Library of the Institut Botànic de Barcelona (Botanical Institute of Barcelona).
