An exhibition to think about Time from science, culture and the human condition
What is time? What is its origin? Can we predict the future or travel to the past?
Based on these and many other questions, the exhibition proposes a thematic and emotional journey through the concept of Time. It is an immersion in all that science has taught us, from the origins of life to black holes. But is also a personal experience that challenges us on deeply human issues. Time is within us, it is part of our humanity. We are made of memories, but also of the futures we imagine every day.
Halfway between disciplines, we shall embark on a unique journey through a concept that has fascinated science, medicine, philosophy, literature, art and history throughout the centuries.
This exhibition is a unique proposal that is part of the Museum’s Singular Exhibitions program and invites us to think about Time from science, culture, the human condition, philosophy and contemporary thought.
It is also part of the recovery of the Martorell Exhibition Center, in the heart of Ciutadella Park, a historic space that resumes activity as a space dedicated to first-class exhibitions within the strategic project of the La Ciutadella Knowledge Hub
