This exhibition tried to answer questions such as: What is genetic engineering? What are its uses? What are the consequences for medicine, nutrition, agriculture, and the environment? Visitors were able to view wool from Dolly -the first cloned sheep, or discover that the faded color of jeans, supposedly the result of ‘stone-washing’, is actually the result of enzymes synthesized by genetically modified bacteria.
