History and legends also form part of an invisible world that is very important for our life on Earth. We have long imagined invisible people and cities, and much has been written about them. Now it is time to do the same for other animals.

At this time of extreme planetary stress, biodiversity is key to ensuring global health. Regarding animals, there are many species that we are unaware of despite their importance in maintaining the ecological balance.

Making the lives of these animals and the stories that surround them visible helps us to recognise them as significant and indispensable parts of our world.

Invisible animals can be mythical, extinct or, indeed, living beings, and they link us to realities that may seem fantastic. All the more reason why we should take care of them and protect them.
