{"id":64988,"date":"2019-10-25T12:40:14","date_gmt":"2019-10-25T11:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/museuciencies.cat\/science\/documentation-centre\/produccio-cientifica-del-museu\/"},"modified":"2019-11-08T13:16:04","modified_gmt":"2019-11-08T12:16:04","slug":"produccio-cientifica-del-museu","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/museuciencies.cat\/en\/science\/documentation-centre\/produccio-cientifica-del-museu\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientific production of the Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Research repository<\/h3>\n<p>The technical, conservation and research staff of the Natural Science Museum of Barcelona (MCNB) regularly publishes journal articles, book chapters, conference communications, posters, etc. The Documentation Centre collects these publications and publishes descriptions for the MCNB community at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recercat.cat\/handle\/2072\/351515\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RECERCAT<\/a> (Catalan research repository), which only includes open-access publications<\/p>\n<p>Currently, scientific production published since 2017 is stored there.<\/p>\n<h3>Google Scholar profiles<\/h3>\n<p>The Documentation Centre maintains and updates two Google Scholar profiles.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=mnPpbhAAAAAJ\">scientific production profile<\/a> includes all the bibliographic references for publications by authors associated with the Museum.As well as facilitating bibliographic management, this profile provides information on the global impact of the scientific production of the Museum.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=XEiy6VgAAAAJ\">collections profile<\/a> has bibliographical references for articles and documents mentioning specimens in the Museum\u2019s collections published by any author.
