Documentary archives

The documentary collection consists of books and documents on the following subjects: Geology, Palaeontology, Mineralogy, Nature, Biodiversity, Zoology (especially Malacology and Entomology), Ethology, Bioacoustics, Taxidermy, Museology and Museography.

The Documentation Centre belongs to the CSIC Network of Libraries in the category of “associate library”. Here you can consult the documentary archives of the Library and Media Library, as well as those of other libraries nationwide that are specialised in our disciplines.

Our documents are coded there under the heading B-CienNat. The ones in the Media Library are differentiated by the code MED.
