Pieces with a special naturalist value or scientific tradition were exhibited. These specimens came from various museums and private collections in Catalonia and permit the visitor to discover the most significant -and, often, poorly-known- contributions from the natural sciences. This exhibit showed the methods used by scientists, the factors that govern naturalist research, and the dynamism of nature and science.
