Museu Blau

  • Hall

The Hall is the neuralgic centre of the Museum, in which people access for a staircase presided over by the skeleton of the whale, in attitude that simulates its immersion in the water. The whale measures more than 20 meters and weighs a ton.

The Hall distributes the access for the majority of the facilities and services and is, at the same time, a space of leisure. It gives access to the shop, the media centre, the classrooms, the events hall and the temporary exhibition. Also in the hall, we will find the sample “Institutions and Natural History Museums in Catalonia”, which sets forth a selection of pieces of each one of these institutions in 18 linear meters of showcase.
